How do NL2 rentals work?
NL2 Party Rental Equipment offers DIY (Do-It-Yourself), contactless weekend rentals. Customers enjoy equipment for the entire weekend, not by the hour—giving you time to prepare without feeling rushed.
NL2 provides the equipment, basic necessities, and usage instructions. Customers handle setup, décor, operation, supervision, and return of all equipment. Optional delivery and pickup may be available for an additional fee.
Are all rentals weekend-only?
Yes. All rentals are weekend-only and reserved as a Friday–Sunday rental block, regardless of the actual event date.
Why does the booking system show Friday at 4:00 PM?
When booking online, all customers select Friday at 4:00 PM.
This selection reserves the weekend block only and does not represent your actual pickup or return time.
All pickup, delivery, and return scheduling details are confirmed via email after booking.
What if my event is on Friday?
Customers hosting Friday events or needing equipment for Friday use will be scheduled for a Thursday advance pickup.
Returns will still take place on Sunday, unless otherwise approved by NL2.
Where can I see pricing?
You will see the full rental cost when you click on each package and review the package details on our website.
Is a deposit or booking fee required?
Yes. All rentals require either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable booking fee, depending on the package.

How are security deposits returned?
To provide the fastest possible refund, approved security deposits are returned via NL2 Business Check, not online bank reversals.
Once equipment is returned and inspected:
Approved deposits are issued within 24–48 hours
Customers may pick up the check or request it to be mailed
This avoids the 5–7 business day delays common with bank or card refunds
Our goal is a quick, reliable, and transparent return process.
What is required to secure a rental?
To secure your rental package and date, the following are required:
Payment of the booking fee or security deposit
Completion and approval of the rental agreement
Valid government-issued photo ID
Remaining rental balance paid 48 hours prior to your scheduled event date
Equipment is released only after full payment and agreement approval.
Is there an age requirement to rent?
Yes. The primary renter must be 21 years of age or older.
For liability and safety reasons, rentals are limited to customers 21+.
Requests from renters ages 18–20 may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and require prior approval from NL2.
Do you offer delivery and pickup?
Yes. Optional delivery and pickup may be available for an additional fee, depending on location and package. NL2 provides drop-off and pickup only unless otherwise stated in writing.
Who is responsible for setup, supervision, and use?
The renter is fully responsible for:
Setup and breakdown
Supervision of participants
Safe operation and use of equipment
Proper return of all items
NL2 does not provide on-site attendants or supervision.
